Anthropic has officially filed an S-1 form with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to initiate an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The company plans to list its Class A common stock under the ticker symbol ANT, with a potential market debut as early as mid-November.

Financial disclosures for the first half of 2026 reveal that the company generated over $16 billion in revenue while recording a net loss of $80 billion. As of June 30, the firm reported holding more than $112 billion in cash and cash equivalents, supplemented by $19 billion in short-term investments.

Founded in 2021 by former OpenAI executives, Anthropic is the developer of the AI assistant Claude. Market reports suggest the company may seek to raise up to $100 billion through this offering, which could result in a total valuation of $2 trillion for the artificial intelligence firm.
