Anthropic, the developer behind the Claude AI model, has officially filed its S-1 registration form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company intends to list on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol ANT. Market estimates suggest the company could reach a valuation of $1.5–2 trillion, potentially marking one of the largest IPOs in history.

Financial disclosures for the first half of the year show revenue of $16.3 billion, alongside a net loss of $80.7 billion. The company attributes a significant portion of these losses to accounting expenses related to financial instruments used for capital raising. Meanwhile, the company is preparing for significant infrastructure investments to support its AI development.

The company has entered into agreements involving substantial computing costs. Once all planned capacities are operational, Anthropic expects to pay SpaceX $3.1 billion monthly for Nvidia GPU access. Total expenditures under these agreements are projected to reach $120.5 billion by 2029. Estimates indicate that a 5% stake in the company could be valued at $75–100 billion.
