Anthropic has launched a beta version of its Salesforce integration for the Claude AI assistant. The tool provides users with 37 prebuilt sales-workflow skills, allowing them to access CRM data, account details, and opportunities directly within the Claude interface.
The integration utilizes Salesforce’s Headless 360 architecture and the Model Context Protocol to ensure secure data access without requiring custom setups. Users can perform tasks such as account research and call preparation, though CRM updates require approval via AgentExchange.
The system is currently being tested by pilot customers, including GitLab, Siemens, and Legora. Additionally, thousands of Salesforce employees have already utilized the tool internally. This release follows the broader partnership between the two companies announced on August 26.
Anthropic plans to expand the capabilities of the integration by introducing more prebuilt skills before the end of 2026. The current set of 37 features is intended to serve as an initial offering for sales teams looking to streamline their daily workflows.
