Ambi, a startup founded by former Plaud executive Peter Mo, has secured $26 million in funding. The investment round was led by Luminous Ventures and the original design manufacturer Huaqin.
The company has launched applications for iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch. These tools are designed to provide real-time intelligence by continuously capturing context through ambient listening.
The AI agent integrates with user calendars and knowledge bases to offer proactive suggestions during meetings. Users can initiate tasks on one device and resume them on another.
Ambi plans to release a dedicated hardware device featuring a screen, camera, speaker, and microphones. Additionally, a future desktop application will monitor user workflows to enhance personalization.
The startup currently employs over 50 people across offices in San Francisco, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. The company is actively recruiting AI engineers and go-to-market specialists.
