Amazon has launched its agentic AI platform, Quick, for desktop users on Windows and macOS. The platform serves as an enterprise-grade assistant designed to aggregate data from various systems, including calendars, emails, messaging apps, and customer relationship management tools, into a single dashboard.
The platform utilizes AI agents to manage routine tasks in the background, allowing users to focus on high-priority items. Quick categorizes notifications by relevance, filtering out low-priority alerts while keeping them accessible for later review. This functionality aims to reduce the information overload caused by fragmented digital tools.
In addition to the desktop release, Amazon updated the Quick mobile activity feed for iOS and Android devices. The mobile interface now consolidates various work streams into a unified priority view, ensuring that users maintain access to their tasks and notifications across different interfaces.
Quick agents operate autonomously even when the user is offline or has closed their desktop applications. Users can configure these agents to perform specific tasks, such as scanning inboxes overnight to generate morning summaries or preparing weekly reports, ensuring continuous background productivity.
