Alexander Maksimov has been appointed as the new director of MegaFon in the Perm Territory. His primary objectives include expanding the subscriber base for both MegaFon and Yota brands, enhancing distribution channels, and strengthening the company's technological infrastructure in the region.
Prior to this appointment, Maksimov managed MegaFon's operations in the Kirov region. During his tenure there, the operator modernized or constructed over 100 telecommunications facilities, including projects along major regional highways and the deployment of connectivity in small settlements.
Maksimov has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He joined MegaFon in 2018, initially leading the B2C division in the Nizhny Novgorod region before moving to the position of director in the Kirov region in 2024. He holds a degree in Economics, Finance, and Credit from TISBI University.
