Zurich-based healthtech company Aeon has secured a seed extension, bringing its total funding to over $14 million. The round was co-led by Araya Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Concentric, GoHub Ventures, Kadmos Capital, Calm/Storm Ventures, N&V Capital, and Bigwave Capital.

As part of its growth strategy, Aeon has acquired the core assets of the German diagnostics firm Aware Health. This deal provides Aeon with an established infrastructure, including a blood-testing platform, over 45 collection sites, and a database of nearly 10 000 active customers.

Founded in 2023 by Tim Seithe and Samuel Frey, Aeon integrates whole-body MRI scans with blood diagnostics and AI analysis. The company has been operating in Germany since early 2026, using longitudinal data to identify health risks and track patient trends over time.

The company is also expanding its technical team, appointing Pablo Tano as AI Lead. Tano will focus on developing models that synthesize imaging, genetic data, and blood biomarkers to generate personalized health predictions for users.

The acquisition of Aware Health is intended to accelerate Aeon’s development timeline by two years. The company reports that over 90% of its check-ups yield actionable findings, with a 15.4% rate of significant health discoveries.
