Zumo, a digital asset platform, and the Quantum Chain project have announced a partnership to build quantum-resistant financial infrastructure in the United Kingdom. The initiative aims to integrate Quantum Chain's secure blockchain technology with Zumo's existing service offerings.
The new infrastructure is designed for banks and regulated financial institutions that are currently adopting tokenized assets and digital currencies. The primary objective is to safeguard financial networks against potential threats posed by powerful quantum computers and sophisticated artificial intelligence attacks.
Nick Jones, CEO of Zumo, stated that the partnership aligns with the UK government's efforts to implement new regulations for the crypto industry. He noted that this regulatory shift is driving institutional demand, and the collaboration will enable financial firms to launch new products securely while mitigating next-generation cyber threats.
Max Denega, founder of Quantum Chain, emphasized that the joint effort will accelerate the transition of the British financial sector to post-quantum security standards. The project is intended to simplify the integration of blockchain technology into traditional banking systems.
