Two pallets containing Zotac GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards have disappeared at Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo. The shipment was intended for the local distributor Oderco, but the cargo went missing immediately after arriving at the facility.

The total value of the lost shipment is estimated at BRL 2.5 million, which is approximately $500,000. This figure represents the cost for the distributor, while the retail market value is significantly higher due to current demand.

Oderco president Matos reported the incident, noting that the company has been importing electronics since 2008 and has never encountered such a loss in its 38-year history. The distributor has reached out to relevant authorities but has received no information regarding the location of the goods.

Currently, there is no clarity on which stage of the logistics process the theft or loss occurred. Neither the airport administration, customs services, nor the logistics companies involved have provided official comments on the situation.

Market prices for the GeForce RTX 5090 currently range between $5,000 and $7,000, despite the manufacturer's recommended price of $2,000. The investigation into the missing shipment remains ongoing.
