Helsinki-based startup Zero has secured €8.93 million in a funding round led by Primary Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from Inception Fund, Defiant, Greens, and several prominent founders, including those from Lovable, Supercell, Langdock, and Silo AI.
The company previously raised €2.34 million in a pre-seed round in December 2024, which was led by 20VC. Other early investors include 20VC, James Hawkins of PostHog, and various operator funds backed by executives from companies such as Spotify, Wolt, Shopify, Dropbox, Meta, and OpenAI.
Founded in 2024 by Tuomo Riekki and Santtu Koivumäki, both formerly of Smartly.io, Zero aims to replace traditional CRM systems. The platform functions as a go-to-market operating system that uses autonomous agents to handle prospecting, email outreach, and customer health monitoring.
The startup claims its system allows a single full-stack employee to manage the entire customer lifecycle. By automating manual tasks like data entry and record updates, Zero intends to eliminate the need for separate tools for sales, prospecting, and customer success.
During its private beta phase, customers reported replacing their existing CRM and outreach tools with Zero. Notably, the company Teamspective reported that it closed twice as much new business after transitioning to the Zero platform.
