Yandex Pay has begun a phased restoration of its transfer and payment services following recent disruptions. Dmitry Pirogov, head of the company's fintech division, confirmed that many users have regained access to their funds, though full functionality is returning gradually to manage system load.
The company is currently restoring transfers via Saves, the Faster Payments System (SBP), and bank details. While these features are being brought back online, users may still encounter intermittent issues. Payments made via physical cards and payment stickers remain fully operational and unaffected by the restrictions.
These service interruptions followed drone attacks on three Yandex data centers. The most recent incident occurred at a facility in Vladimir on the night of October 11. Yandex stated that customer account data remains secure, as records are stored in multiple copies across various locations.
