Yandex Pay has partially resumed operations following drone attacks on the company's data centers. Payments via plastic cards and payment stickers are now fully functional, though the service remains unstable with potential errors in other operations.

The company is restoring access to transfers and savings accounts in stages to manage system load. As of 10:00 Moscow time on October 13, 2026, many users regained the ability to manage their funds.

Between October 8 and 11, 2026, three of Yandex's five data centers were damaged in Sasovo, Kaluga, and the Vladimir region. The Sasovo facility, which housed supercomputers for YandexGPT, ceased operations entirely.

To compensate users for the service disruption, Yandex increased the interest rate on savings accounts to 20% per annum for the week of October 11 to October 17, 2026.

The company confirmed that payments missed due to the outage will not be marked as overdue, and loan repayment terms will remain unchanged. Yandex is currently migrating services to alternative cloud providers.
