Yandex Pay is currently experiencing technical instability following recent drone attacks that damaged the company's infrastructure. Dmitry Pirogov, head of fintech at Yandex, stated that payments for Super Split or Yandex loans will not be marked as overdue during the service outage. No penalties will be applied, and users who were charged fees can request a refund through customer support.

The company is currently rebuilding its infrastructure to ensure data replication across multiple data centers, which is causing delays in full service restoration. While some features like plastic card payments and sticker transactions are fully operational, others remain limited. Users can expect full functionality to return as engineering teams continue their work.

As a temporary measure, Yandex is increasing the interest rate on its savings accounts, known as Saves, to 20 percent per annum. This rate applies to all current users for one week, from October 11 to October 17 inclusive. Information regarding these accruals will appear in the transaction history as the system updates.
