Yamaha has introduced the XENTER E, an electric scooter designed for the European market that serves as an equivalent to 125cc combustion models. The vehicle was unveiled at EICMA 2026 in Milan alongside the NMAX E model.
The scooter features 16-inch wheels and is powered by a new eAxle powertrain that integrates the motor, controller, and gearbox. The motor delivers a peak power of 7.5 kW and 33.3 Nm of torque, qualifying the scooter for the A1 license category in Europe.
The XENTER E is equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery, offering a range of 108 km according to the WMTC Class 1 cycle. An 800W onboard charger allows for a full recharge in approximately 5.5 hours, with options for both public station and household outlet charging.
Standard equipment includes three riding modes, traction control, regenerative braking, a reverse mode, and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. The design also incorporates underseat storage for a full-face helmet and USB-C charging.
While official pricing has not been confirmed for all regions, reports suggest a price of €7,799 in Germany. Yamaha plans to begin deliveries of the new electric scooter in the spring of 2027.
