Honda unveiled its first premium electric mountain bike, the RN0, at the EICMA 2026 exhibition in Milan. The model was developed in collaboration with the German manufacturer ROTWILD and features a proprietary carbon monocoque frame. The design includes a gull-arm swingarm, drawing on Honda's experience in motorcycle chassis development.

The bike weighs approximately 24 kg and is equipped with FOX 36 FLOAT Factory Kashima front suspension and a FOX FLOAT X Factory Kashima rear shock. It utilizes a mullet wheel setup with a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with Shimano DEORE XT four-piston brakes.

The drivetrain features a Shimano drive unit weighing 2.3 kg, capable of 100 Nm of torque and 750 watts of maximum output. It is powered by a 720 Wh battery. The system includes AUTO ASSIST for terrain-based power adjustment and AUTO SHIFT for gear management.

Additional features include an Assist Carryover function to maintain power during technical maneuvers and a 2.2-inch color display integrated into the top tube. The bike supports USB-C charging and connectivity via the Shimano app for motor configuration and electronic locking.
