YADRO, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, has unveiled a new radio module for its BTS8100 base station. The device supports 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands, marking the company's first module to feature four antenna ports and MIMO 4x4 technology. It is compatible with both LTE and 5G networks.
The module delivers up to 80 W of power per antenna port, with a total output of 320 W. The device weighs 29.5 kg and is designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -40 to +55 degrees Celsius. This hardware aims to help operators optimize base station configurations in high-load scenarios.
Mass production of the new module is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026 at the YADRO Fab Dubna facility. The company plans to launch a subsequent module for the 800/900 MHz bands in the first quarter of 2027. Future efforts will focus on testing and integration with Russian telecom operators.
YADRO launched its base station production in December 2025. Currently, the equipment is deployed in commercial networks of Beeline and MegaFon across 37 Russian regions. In May 2026, the first domestic base station was activated in Nizhny Novgorod, a city with a population of over one million.
