Yadro has invested 1.2 ₽ billion into the development of a dual-band radio module designed for LTE and 5G base stations. The device supports 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequencies, with mass production scheduled to begin in the autumn of 2026.

According to Roman Maslennikov, director of Yadro's radio frequency systems center, the dual-band design allows mobile operators to reduce the total amount of hardware required at base stations. The company utilizes a mix of domestic and foreign components in its production process.

MegaFon and VimpelCom are set to receive the initial batches of the new modules. Previously, in 2025, MegaFon ordered 1,500 base stations from Yadro, while VimpelCom ordered 1,000 units. VimpelCom confirmed it is currently testing new domestic equipment.

The company plans to expand its lineup with a second module supporting 800 MHz and 900 MHz bands, targeting a production launch in the first quarter of 2027. The total Russian base station market was valued at over 75 ₽ billion in 2025.
