According to data from CryptoQuant, XRP inflows to exchanges reached over 6 billion tokens in the 30-day period ending October 19. This figure represents the highest volume recorded since March and marks a doubling of inflows since mid-August.

During the observed period, the price of XRP fluctuated, rising from approximately $1 to a peak of $1.70 before correcting to current levels near $1.30. Analysts suggest this movement may indicate increased trading activity or shifts in asset distribution between wallets and exchanges.

Whale activity, however, has significantly declined. The 90-day moving average of whale outflows has dropped by 98.6% from its February 2025 peak of $3.5 billion to the current level of $49.7 million, the lowest point since October 2021.

CryptoQuant analysts note that the lack of whale support may impact long-term buying volume for the asset. Meanwhile, broader market data from Glassnode indicates that Bitcoin investors have also reduced activity, with the realized profit/loss ratio falling by 50% over the past week.
