XRP has experienced a double-digit price decline this month, including a 4.81% drop over the past week to $1.30. Analysts identify three bearish indicators: reduced whale activity, increased exchange deposits, and stagnating ETF demand.
Whale outflows from Binance have reached a five-year low, with the 90-day average falling to $49.7 million from $3.5 billion in February 2025. This suggests major investors may be waiting for more attractive entry prices.
Exchange deposits of XRP hit a seven-month high, with 6.05 billion tokens moved to platforms over 30 days. Binance accounted for 2.46 billion of these deposits, representing approximately 40% of the total volume.
US spot XRP ETFs recorded a net outflow of $1.84 million for the week ending October 16, ending a 13-week streak of inflows. October inflows currently total $10.25 million, compared to $121.4 million in September.
Total net assets for XRP ETFs decreased to $1.48 billion from a peak of $1.77 billion on September 25. The token has fallen 12.5% since October 1, following gains of 30% in August and 7.95% in September.
