US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $526.6 million on October 19, marking the largest single-day gain since September 22. Despite the overall positive result, the growth was driven primarily by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which attracted $665.2 million.
Other major funds experienced capital flight on the same day. Fidelity’s FBTC saw outflows of $83.6 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC lost $54.9 million. As of October 19, the total net assets held by these Bitcoin funds reached $105.46 billion, representing approximately 6.4% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization.
The market for other digital assets saw a different trend. Ethereum spot ETFs faced net outflows, led by BlackRock’s ETHA, which recorded $95.4 million in redemptions. Solana spot ETFs also experienced net outflows on October 19, continuing a period of negative pressure for non-Bitcoin products.
Since their launch in January 2024, spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated total net inflows of $57.40 billion. The recent inflow on October 19 helped reduce the monthly deficit for October to approximately $90 million, following a series of earlier outflows throughout the month.
