Xpeng has introduced the Dark Knight design package for its P7+ sedan. The option features a black-and-red color scheme, including Midnight Black exterior paint, Lava Gray interior trim, red seat belts, and 20-inch sport wheels with red caliper covers.
The package is available for all P7+ versions at a limited-time price of ¥6,000, which is 40 percent lower than the standard price of ¥10,000. Xpeng noted that the update is purely aesthetic and does not alter the vehicle's powertrain or assisted driving hardware.
The P7+ model supports an 800-volt platform with 5C fast charging, capable of reaching 80 percent charge in 12 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with a second-generation VLA assisted driving system providing up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power.
The P7+ series, which launched in November 2024, includes both battery electric and extended-range versions. The EREV variant offers a combined range of 1,550 kilometers, while the BEV version provides a maximum CLTC range of 725 kilometers.
This design strategy mirrors the approach used by Nio, which frequently releases similar styling packages for its models. Xpeng reported that the 100,000th P7+ unit was produced 14 months after the initial market launch.
