Xpeng has officially launched the Mona L03 SUV in Australia and New Zealand, marking its third model in these regions following the G6 and X9. The vehicle is available as both a battery electric vehicle and an extended-range electric vehicle, the latter featuring the company's Kunpeng technology.
In Australia, the L03 starts at AUD 41,900, while in New Zealand, the price begins at NZD 49,900. The EREV variant includes a 37.2-kWh battery and a 1.5-liter engine, providing a combined range of 1,017 kilometers and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.8 seconds.
The SUV measures 4,650 mm in length with a 2,850 mm wheelbase and supports DC fast charging up to 123 kW. It is the first model in these markets to offer the second-generation VLA system and the Xpilot Assist suite, which includes adaptive cruise control and lane centering.
This launch aligns with Xpeng's long-term strategy for Australia, announced in July, which targets the introduction of five new models within six months. The company also plans to open three flagship experience centers and up to 50 sales outlets in the region.
The Mona L03 was first introduced globally in Munich on July 16 and is intended for sale in 64 overseas markets. In China, the model starts at ¥123,800, while the European BEV version is priced from €35,600.
