Dongfeng Aeolus L8+ is scheduled for official market launch on October 23. The vehicle is part of a broader product expansion announced by the company in July, which includes the L8Y, L9, and E80 models.
The car features the Tianyuan T800 intelligent driving system powered by the Momenta R7 world model. It utilizes the Nvidia Thor-U chip, which provides a computing power of 700 TOPS and supports both urban and highway Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) functions.
The powertrain consists of a 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor in a plug-in hybrid configuration. The interior is equipped with an embedded LCD instrument cluster and a large floating center display.
Additional interior features include a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging. Passengers also have access to a panoramic sunroof, a 19-speaker WANOS sound system, a ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, and rear-seat tables.
