Xiaomi has launched the Skynomad N70, a range-extender SUV featuring a 1.5-liter engine. The vehicle is available with two battery options: 52 kWh and 76 kWh. The base N70 Pro model starts at ¥209 900, while the top-tier N70 Max is priced from ¥239 900.
The N70 Pro features a single motor with 282 hp and a 52 kWh battery, offering 351 km of electric range and 1 351 km total. The N70 Max uses dual motors producing 416 hp and a 76 kWh battery, providing 505 km of electric range and 1 461 km total.
Measuring 4 960 mm in length, the N70 is larger than the standard Tesla Model Y. Interior equipment includes a 16.1-inch infotainment screen, a 20-inch head-up display, and rotating front seats. The Max trim adds air suspension and a 25-speaker audio system.
Market response to the new SUV series has been significant. Reports indicate a surge in foot traffic at Xiaomi retail locations across China, with estimates suggesting up to 100 000 pre-orders placed during the first week of availability.
