Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced the launch of the company's new workshop at the Nurburgring circuit. The facility is located directly next to the GT track and offers significantly more space than the previous rented location.
The new workshop includes dedicated infrastructure such as a private parking area, fast-charging stations, a direct entrance to the track, showers for drivers, and a VIP lounge for viewing races.
Xiaomi Auto CTO Hu Zhengnan shared photos from the site featuring a camouflaged vehicle. Industry observers expect this model to be the next generation of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
Earlier reports from September indicated that the new SU7 Ultra prototype features a large rear wing. Speculation suggests the production version may adopt a two-door design.
The upcoming model, potentially branded as the SU7 Ultra Extreme, is expected to be a limited edition. It will likely include advanced aerodynamic components, such as a massive rear spoiler and a rear diffuser with large fins to manage airflow.
