Wildberries has introduced a new feature called 'I Want a Discount,' which enables customers to negotiate prices directly with sellers. Users can request a discount ranging from 1% to 35% on eligible items. Participation in the program is voluntary for merchants, who choose which products to include.
Sellers can manage incoming requests manually by reviewing each offer or set up an automated system. In the latter case, the merchant predefines a maximum discount limit, allowing the platform to process requests automatically. If a seller approves a proposal, the buyer receives a personalized promo code.
The generated promo code remains valid for 24 hours and can be applied to one or multiple units of the selected product. Currently, the feature is available to Russian sellers on the marketplace. Each vendor is permitted to include up to 50,000 items in the program.
