Volkswagen has introduced a customer bonus program for its ID.4 electric crossover, offering a $12,500 discount on remaining 2025 model year units. This incentive applies to five specific trims: Pro, AWD Pro, Pro S, AWD Pro S, and AWD Pro S Plus. Customers can utilize the bonus for either cash purchases or lease agreements at participating dealerships.
For the 2026 ID.4 models, the manufacturer is offering a smaller customer bonus of $6,000. Both promotional offers are scheduled to expire on November 2, 2026. These discounts do not apply to fleet sales or dealership program transactions and cannot be redeemed for cash. The company notes that these incentives are part of a clearance effort for existing inventory.
The automaker halted production of the ID.4 at its plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in April 2026. Volkswagen reports that it maintains sufficient stock to meet demand through 2027 as the factory transitions to producing the 2027 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport models. A successor to the ID.4 for the North American market is expected to debut around late 2026.
The 2026 ID.4 Pro features an EPA-estimated range of up to 291 miles with an 82 kilowatt-hour battery, while all-wheel-drive variants offer approximately 263 miles per charge. The company is also running separate incentive programs for other vehicles, including a $2,000 bonus for the Taos and a $3,000 bonus for the Tiguan.
