Volkswagen Anhui announced that the official launch and presentation event for the ID.UNYX 09 model will take place on September 24. This vehicle is the second joint development project between Volkswagen and Xpeng Motors, completed within a 24-month period.
The vehicle features a length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase of 3030 mm. It incorporates Volkswagen's proprietary tech suites, including the VLA large model for intelligent driving assistance and AI-powered cabin assistants. The design utilizes a distinctive wolf-themed aesthetic with crystal-cut lighting elements.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the model will be available in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. Both versions use lithium iron phosphate batteries with cells supplied by CATL, while battery assembly is handled by Volkswagen Anhui Components.
The dual-motor version has a curb weight of 2307 kg and a top speed of 200 km/h. Its front motor provides a peak power of 140 kW, while the rear motor reaches 230 kW. The single-motor variant weighs 2207 kg and shares the same top speed and rear motor performance specifications.
