Volkswagen Anhui has updated the ID. UNYX 08 electric SUV, reducing its starting price to ¥189 900 for a limited time. This represents a 17.4% decrease from the initial launch price of ¥229 900 set on April 16. The updated lineup includes Pure, Ultra Plus, and Max Plus variants, with limited-time prices ranging from ¥189 900 to ¥249 900.
The vehicle is built on an 800-volt platform and utilizes CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries. The Pure model features an 82 kWh battery with a 630 km CLTC range, while the Ultra Plus and Max Plus models use 95 kWh batteries with ranges of 730 km and 700 km, respectively. Charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 20 minutes.
The SUV integrates two Xpeng Turing AI chips providing 1 500 TOPS of computing power and uses the VLA 2.0 driver-assistance system. The interior is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip and the Volkswagen OS 2.2 system. The model measures 5 000 mm in length with a 3 030 mm wheelbase.
Volkswagen also introduced the Lieying edition, which features a black-and-orange design, 21-inch wheels, and dual-chamber air suspension. Sales of the ID. UNYX 08 reached 133 units in July and 379 units in August. The company is expanding distribution by utilizing FAW-Volkswagen dealers through a store-in-store format.
