BYD has introduced the Giant Screen UI for its third-generation Tang EV, scheduled for a Q4 2026 launch in China. The modular interface allows users to customize window layouts for navigation, media, and vehicle data. It also features an AI assistant named Xiao Mianbao, which utilizes voice and visual sensing to interact with passengers.

The vehicle's interior features a 35.4-inch remote cowl display for driving metrics and a 30-inch panoramic touchscreen for the center and passenger areas. This setup replaces traditional instrument clusters and head-up displays. The SUV measures 5,045 mm in length with a 2,950 mm wheelbase, offering over 1,000 mm of rear legroom and seatbacks that recline up to 130 degrees.

The Tang EV is equipped with a second-generation Blade Battery and supports Flash Charging. According to BYD, the battery charges from 10% to 70% in about five minutes and reaches 97% in nine minutes under normal conditions. In extreme cold, charging time increases by approximately three minutes.

The powertrain includes a rear permanent-magnet synchronous motor with a 300 kW output and a top speed of 250 km/h. Available LFP battery capacities are 88.682 kWh and 105.792 kWh, providing CLTC ranges of 730 km, 830 km, and 850 km. The car also includes DiSus-A air suspension and roof-mounted LiDAR for Level 2 driver assistance systems.
