Vinci4D Inc. has secured $250 million in a Series B funding round. The company plans to use these funds to expand its physics-based AI simulation platform into new industries and disciplines, including electromagnetics and fluid dynamics.
The platform utilizes a physics foundation model combined with a GPU-native physics kernel, which the company calls Continuous Physics Reasoning. This approach aims to provide engineers with both high solver accuracy and rapid simulation speeds during the design process.
The system is designed to integrate directly into existing engineering workflows without requiring manual input or changes to current processes. Vinci4D trains its models on its own data rather than client data, and the software is deployed behind the customer's firewall to protect proprietary information.
Beyond semiconductor engineering, the company is exploring applications for its technology in the automotive and aerospace sectors. The simulation tools are also intended to support the development of physical AI, such as humanoid systems and robotics, by predicting product behavior early in the design phase.
