The privacy-focused AI platform Venice has integrated OpenAI’s latest image generation models, GPT Image 2.6 Flare and Sunburst. These models were originally released by OpenAI on November 4, 2026. Venice users can access these tools anonymously, maintaining the platform's core policy of not storing or profiling user prompts.
The Flare model is designed for speed, capable of generating images in approximately six seconds. According to research, this makes it over 50% faster than previous OpenAI generations and twice as fast as the Sunburst variant. Sunburst, conversely, focuses on maintaining high detail levels and consistent layouts during complex editing tasks.
Venice introduced new workflow capabilities, including the ability to edit up to six images simultaneously. The platform now supports markup-guided editing, allowing users to visually indicate specific areas for adjustment rather than relying solely on text descriptions. Additionally, users can export results in SVG and GIF formats.
Pricing for the new models is set between $0.05 and $0.12 per image. The final cost for each generation depends on the specific resolution and quality settings selected by the user. This integration reflects the platform's strategy to quickly adopt new AI releases to meet the demand for iterative image generation.
