Vekus Group has announced the availability of sites with spare electrical capacity for deploying mobile data centers. This infrastructure allows companies to host containerized server equipment without the need to construct dedicated data center buildings.
A mobile data center consists of a shipping container equipped with server racks, storage systems, networking hardware, and engineering infrastructure. These units are transported by road and connected to power and communication networks at the designated site.
The company provides options for renting or manufacturing custom modules based on specific project requirements. The containerized format enables businesses to relocate their infrastructure by disconnecting the module and moving it to a new site, with downtime depending on logistics and connection readiness.
These mobile units are designed for creating backup IT sites, storing corporate data, and maintaining disaster recovery environments. They can also support corporate computing tasks, pilot projects, and the deployment of GPU servers for artificial intelligence workloads.
