Vectorial AI Inc. has secured $3 million in seed funding to advance its artificial intelligence platform designed to simulate human behavior for consumer research. The investment round was co-led by Smilegate and SenseAI Ventures, with participation from university ecosystem funds and angel investors from Meta, Mastercard, and Shopify.

The startup's platform, powered by a behavioral model called SAPIENS, utilizes a database of over 2.5 million real consumers to simulate target demographics. According to the company, SAPIENS is 30% more accurate than general-purpose models in predicting consumer behavior, with internal tests showing an 86% accuracy rate compared to real-world studies.

Vectorial currently serves clients in the e-commerce, gaming, and healthcare sectors, including GoodRx, Boat, Everkind, and Concrete Software. These companies conduct an average of 600 simulations per month. The newly raised capital will be used to expand the behavioral dataset and develop an upgraded model, SAPIENS 2.0.
