Researchers at the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) have created an automated system designed to test power conversion equipment for small satellites. The technology aims to streamline quality control during various production phases, ranging from initial laboratory debugging to final acceptance testing before delivery.

The system allows operators to configure custom testing protocols through specialized software. Once initiated, the process runs autonomously, continuously recording performance data and monitoring for potential malfunctions. This automation is intended to improve the efficiency of testing procedures for serial satellite components.

According to Yuri Kremzukov, Deputy Director for Science and Innovation at the TUSUR Research Institute of Automation and Electromechanics, the power supply is a critical subsystem that dictates the operational stability of all onboard equipment. The new solution is specifically engineered to ensure the reliability of these essential components.
