Starting October 28, Turo users in the US can filter for Tesla vehicles equipped with the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature. The platform uses a direct API integration with Tesla to verify the status of the driver assistance system in each listed car.

Turo reports that thousands of FSD-enabled Teslas are already available on the platform. Eligible hosts can access a one-month free trial of the software, after which they must pay a monthly subscription fee of $99 to Tesla.

Tesla is actively promoting FSD to increase its subscriber base, which reached 1.74 million active users in Q3. This metric is a key performance indicator for Elon Musk’s compensation package, which targets 10 million active subscriptions.

While Turo markets the feature as a way to experience driverless technology, FSD (Supervised) remains a Level 2 system requiring constant driver attention. The company encourages guests to review safety guidelines before use.
