Turbo Oblako has provided cloud computing resources to Mindrobots to support the training of a humanoid robot. The project focuses on preparing the machine for the URKL international humanoid fighting league based in China.
Mindrobots previously relied on internal hardware but found it insufficient for their needs. Turbo Oblako deployed a dedicated cloud infrastructure that operates around the clock to handle the intensive training of the robot's neural model.
The training process involves the robot performing numerous attempts in a virtual environment to learn decision-making and movement control. The infrastructure supported over 1,200 GPU-hours of continuous operation during the project.
As the training progressed, the complexity of tasks increased from basic movements to simulating interactions between multiple robots in a virtual ring. This scaling required additional computing resources provided by the cloud service.
The trained neural model has been successfully prepared for deployment into the physical robot. Mindrobots continues to refine the model to improve performance in real-world competition scenarios.
