Trust Wallet has removed nine years of accumulated code, reducing the application size by approximately 200 MB. The cleanup targeted legacy code, outdated technology stacks, and unnecessary dependencies to improve performance and efficiency.

Prior to the update in mid-October 2026, the Android version of the app was 160 MB, while the iOS version occupied 250 MB. CEO Felix Fan stated that further optimizations are planned as part of an ongoing effort to address technical debt.

In September 2026, the company discontinued native support for 25 blockchain networks with lower activity levels. This decision aimed to focus engineering resources on maintaining, testing, and securing the remaining integrations.

The platform currently supports over 100 blockchains and reports more than 200 million downloads. Users affected by the removal of network support retain access to their assets via recovery phrases.
