Previously known as Kallyope, the company rebranded to TriGemX Bio alongside this financing. Founded in 2015 by Charles Zuker, Richard Axel, and Thomas Maniatis, the startup has now accumulated a total of $573 million in equity funding.
Walapay, a fintech company specializing in cross-border payment infrastructure, raised $4.6 million in seed funding. The round was led by Generative Ventures, with participation from Commerce Ventures, Polygon Labs, Verda Ventures, NGC Ventures, FGV Capital, Jsquare, Knollwood Investment Advisory, Big Brain Holdings, Reflexive Capital, and Contribution Capital. The company was established in 2022 by founders Tom Borgers and Dimitri Borgers.
