Treble Technologies, a startup based in Reykjavik, has secured $18 million in a Series A-2 funding round. The investment was led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, and the European Innovation Council Fund. This capital injection follows the company's €11 million Series A round, which took place in September 2024.

Founded in early 2020 by Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, the company specializes in cloud-based software that models sound propagation. The platform generates labeled audio data from digital twins, allowing developers to test audio performance in various environments without physical prototypes. Current clients include Amazon and Logitech, who utilize the technology for audio AI and signal processing.

The company plans to use the new funds to expand its operations into robotics, wearables, and mobile listening devices. Treble aims to bridge the gap in the physical AI market, where current development is heavily focused on vision rather than sound. The startup intends to provide the sensor-specific training data required for voice-AI teams and robotics developers.

Market data indicates that humanoid robots and physical AI systems raised $8.7 billion in disclosed equity between August 2025 and July 2026. Furthermore, the voice AI agent market is projected to grow from $2.4 billion in 2024 to $47.5 billion by 2034. Treble's platform is designed to help AI models integrate auditory inputs to improve performance in real-world conditions.
