TrakMotors, a supplier of truck spare parts, has implemented the cloud-based ant Time Slot Management system from Ant Technologies at its central warehouse in Moscow. The transition from manual scheduling via phone and email to digital slot booking aims to optimize vehicle arrival management.
The new system allows drivers to book arrival times independently through an online service. The warehouse automatically generates unloading schedules based on gate availability, staff capacity, and processing standards, while tracking all statuses in real time.
According to Alexey Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Logistics and Service at TrakMotors, the implementation resulted in a 30% reduction in vehicle downtime and a 10% decrease in logistics costs.
The cloud-based model enables TrakMotors to scale the solution across its regional branch network without requiring local infrastructure deployment. The company intends to use the system to analyze operational data and further refine its yard management processes.
