Toyota presented five Snowhunter concept vehicles at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The lineup includes modified versions of the Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, and Sequoia models, all developed by the CALTY Design Research center in Michigan.
Each vehicle features a track-based propulsion system instead of standard wheels, designed for navigating snowy terrain. The exterior of all five concepts is finished in white with grey geometric patterns, complemented by specialized equipment for winter travel.
The Tundra Snowhunter includes the Toyota TrailLift Pro Rack System for gear transport. The Sequoia and 4Runner models are equipped with Prinsu roof racks and Thule cargo boxes, while the Land Cruiser features Thule SnowPack ski mounts and protective plates.
The Tacoma Snowhunter is optimized for narrow winter trails, featuring a full-size bed platform, a tent, integrated lighting, and recovery gear. All models incorporate various protective elements, such as TRD skid plates and side steps, to handle challenging off-road conditions.
