The Series A funding round for Osavul was led by 33N Ventures, a cybersecurity investor based in Europe. Additional participants included Balnord, G+D Ventures, and the existing investor 42CAP. With this latest injection of capital, the total funding raised by the startup has reached approximately €12 million.

Osavul, founded by Dmytro Plieshakov and Dmytro Bilash, developed its platform in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The company provides AI-driven tools that scan open-source and online data to identify cyber threats, disinformation campaigns, and physical hostile activities before they escalate.

The startup currently serves NATO, as well as various government and defense organizations. The platform enables the monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of information across public and commercial data sources. The company operates from Luxembourg and provides services to customers globally, particularly in regions experiencing instability.

The company plans to utilize the new funding to expand its enterprise client base and scale its operations within the government and defense sectors. CEO Dmytro Plieshakov noted that the firm intends to bring its intelligence capabilities to critical infrastructure businesses, including those in energy, transport, and finance.
