Tesla China has introduced a limited-time promotion for extended warranty services on its home charging equipment. Customers can purchase this coverage for as low as ¥199 if they act before January 20, 2027.
The offer applies to two specific models: the third-generation wall connector and the Cybervault home charging unit. The extended warranty adds two years of coverage to the original manufacturer warranty, starting the day after the initial term expires.
The third-generation charger weighs 3.4 kg, features a 5-meter cable, and supports WiFi connectivity with OTA updates. It allows users to link up to 10 vehicles and schedule charging during off-peak hours via the Tesla app.
The Cybervault unit weighs 13 kg and offers a dual-purpose design, functioning as both a fixed wall charger and a portable device. It operates at 220V with a 32A/7kW output and includes a 6-meter cable for added flexibility.
The extended warranty covers manufacturing defects and necessary repairs or parts replacement under normal personal use. Additionally, purchasing the charger warranty includes an extension for the installation service.
