Tencent has officially launched the QQ Pet feature for the HarmonyOS version of its QQ application. This update focuses on providing a lightweight social companion experience for users within the Huawei ecosystem.
The integration follows the initial beta testing phase for the QQ HarmonyOS app, version 9.2.65 (3426), which became available earlier this month via the Huawei App Gallery. Users were required to receive an invitation via SMS to access the update.
The new iteration of QQ Pet was originally launched on July 27. The feature allows users to engage in various activities with their virtual pets, including sending them out to learn or work, maintaining the core mechanics of the classic version.
