The study by hh.ru and Dream Job analyzed 2.7 million employee reviews to rank industries and professions based on workplace conditions. The evaluation criteria included office equipment, work schedules, physical infrastructure, and general comfort, measured on a five-point scale.

The telecommunications sector leads the industry ranking with 4.49 points, followed by finance (4.42) and IT (4.38). The mining and oil and gas industries occupy the lowest positions with scores of 4.03 and 4.05 respectively. Data scientists (4.63), product analysts (4.62), and methodologists (4.60) top the professional satisfaction list.

The research highlights an inverse relationship between ratings and the frequency of mentions. In sectors where physical environment impacts health, such as mining (11.6%) and forestry (11.4%), employees frequently discuss working conditions. In contrast, IT (6.7%) and telecom (7.0%) employees mention these factors less often, as basic comfort is considered a standard norm.

Product analysts (12.6%), PR managers (10.2%), and HR managers (10.0%) are the most vocal about office environments. Conversely, DevOps engineers (4.2%) and data scientists (5.5%) rarely discuss physical workspace, prioritizing technical equipment and remote work capabilities instead.
