The mobile operator T2 has introduced AI-powered virtual fitting rooms in its retail stores. Customers can use these interactive stations to try on company merchandise without needing prior registration.

The process involves selecting a model on a virtual display and taking a photo via an integrated camera. Users input their gender, height, and weight, and the algorithm generates a visualization of the item on the user within 30 seconds.

The pilot project launched in August 2026 and currently operates in more than 50 locations across Russia. During the testing period, users completed approximately 1000 sessions, resulting in 150 purchases.

Following the initial results, T2 has decided to extend the availability of these virtual fitting rooms until the end of 2026. The company is also considering plans to scale the technology to additional regional stores.
