StrongestLayer Inc. has introduced two new security products, Intent Workflows and AI Instruction Intercept, designed to protect email systems from financial fraud and AI manipulation. The tools are compatible with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and operate alongside existing security infrastructure.
Intent Workflows focuses on high-risk requests such as payments, payroll changes, and account resets. It holds these requests for verification based on customer-defined thresholds, such as transaction amounts exceeding $5,000. If a request involves new bank details or a new vendor, it requires manual confirmation via a verified phone number.
The company analyzed 32,052 attacks across 45 organizations in the second quarter. While payment and bank-change requests accounted for only 3.6% of these incidents, they represented over 98% of the estimated financial exposure. Notably, 94% of these malicious messages successfully passed standard sender authentication checks.
AI Instruction Intercept addresses prompt injection risks by scanning incoming messages for hidden instructions before they reach AI assistants like Microsoft 365 Copilot or Google Gemini. The system uses a reasoning model to evaluate messages against business context and quarantines suspicious content by default.
