StrollMe, a Frankfurt-based startup providing subscription-based children's mobility products, has secured €22 million in new financing. The round includes equity from existing investors Hanse Ventures, HGDF, JOSS, and business angel Kristina Schreiner, alongside new investor BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH. Additionally, Growth Credit Partners provided a credit facility.
Founded in 2020 by Timon Beutel and Sebastian Reichelt, the company operates in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Its inventory includes bikes, strollers, and car seats from brands such as Woom, Bugaboo, and Thule. The business model focuses on circularity, where items are refurbished after use or sold via the sister brand Kiddly. Since inception, the company has completed over 100,000 rentals.
The new capital is earmarked for expanding the rental fleet to meet growing consumer demand. In 2025, the company reported a revenue increase of approximately 70%, though it struggled to fulfill all orders due to limited stock. The funding will help broaden the product range and improve availability for families across Europe.
The investment in StrollMe is part of a broader trend in 2026, with approximately €90.6 million in combined financing flowing into European subscription and asset-backed business models. Other notable deals include funding for Raylo, GIN e-bikes, Everphone, and equipal, reflecting a growing market interest in rental-based circular economy services.
