Stellantis has launched the Tributo Autobianchi, a new flagship trim for the Fiat Pandina. The release marks 30 years since the final Autobianchi vehicle was produced. Beyond nostalgia, the move serves a legal purpose: Italian law allows the government to seize automotive trademarks that remain dormant for five consecutive years. By using the name on a production model, Stellantis resets this statutory clock.
The Fiat Pandina, based on the third-generation Panda platform from 2011, remains a strong performer in Europe. In the first nine months of 2026, the model recorded 100 000 registrations, with 86 000 of those occurring in Italy. The vehicle is currently manufactured at the Pomigliano d'Arco facility.
The Tributo Autobianchi edition features exclusive design elements, including a Platino exterior finish, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and interior upholstery in Light-sand microfiber. Mechanically, the car retains the standard 1.0-liter three-cylinder mild-hybrid engine with 69 hp and a six-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle is currently available for order in Italy. The initial pricing is set at €15 400, which is a discounted rate valid until the end of the month.
